Ibridge assists NERC, AT&T and Bell Atlantic to conduct Year 2000 Interoperability Verification Tests.

Ibridge announces today that are pleased to have played a key role in the premier Y2K interoperability test for North American Electric Power Utilities. Ibridge planned and executed the portions of the Y2k test that represented the local electric utility in the State of New Jersey. During the test, interconnected electronic equipment was rolled through the key dates of the millennium transition. This included equipment at the local electric utility, the local telecommunications provider, and the national telecommunications provider, providing complete end-to-end interoperability testing.

Paul Dore, company President, took part in the development and execution of the test. "Ibridge has drawn upon our considerable experience in embedded systems design and development in order to conduct thorough Y2K validation and testing for the electric utility industry. This particular test represents a culmination of a large effort from many players in both the electric utility and telecommunications industry".
