Energy Accounting Application Delivered to Trading Floor

Ibridge today announces that we have successfully delivered a custom energy accounting application to one of the largest electric trading organizations in the United States. This software, developed under contract to the client, allows traders to monitor, track, and correct energy production and interchange values on an hourly basis. The software must select a "best source" for each data point based on the several possible sources of production data which are available. The operator may accept the computer selection or input a manual correction. Historical records of all accounting data are kept, facilitating account balancing with the Independent System Operator (ISO).
